What is Mathinar?
Mathinar is an online maths tuition provider designed specifically for students in Year 7 up to Year 13, we teach Key stage 3, GCSE and A-Level Maths. We specialise in helping students to achieve the top three grades at GCSE and A-Level Maths
Why does Mathinar exist?
Mathinar exists to address the needs of curious hard working students who are not being sufficiently challenged in their regular school environments. It was founded by Anish Patel, who personally experienced a lack of academic stimulation in his own math classes during school. Instead of being adequately challenged, he was given a textbook and expected to work through it independently. Anish recognised that there are countless students facing the same situation, feeling unengaged and bored with the lack of intellectual stimulation in their math education.
With Mathinar, we aim to bridge this gap and provide a platform where these students can be appropriately challenged and motivated to reach their full potential. We understand that simply going through the motions is not enough for these talented individuals. We want to ignite their passion for mathematics, nurture their talents, and help them achieve exceptional results.
Our mission is to empower these students, instilling in them a love for mathematics and providing the intellectual challenge they crave. By doing so, we strive to help them unleash their full potential and pave the way for their future success.
Who will teach me?
You will be in excellent hands when you learn with us at Mathinar. Our founder and lead tutor, Anish, will be your guide on this exciting math journey. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, ensuring you receive top-quality learning.
Anish holds a Masters Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, demonstrating his expertise in the subject matter. With over 17 years of teaching experience, he has dedicated himself to helping students like you reach the top 20% of achievers in the country. His passion for mathematics and teaching shines through in every session.
As a GCSE Examiner since 2005, Anish's insights into the examination process are invaluable. Each year, he meticulously marks over 20,000 questions, giving him an in-depth understanding of how to achieve top marks in the exam. You can trust that he will provide you with the strategies and techniques needed to excel.

What Classes are Available?
We offer exciting and interactive live webinars in small group settings. These sessions cover a wide range of topics following the national curriculum framework, as well as the GCSE and A-Level exam syllabi for Edexcel and AQA boards. Our classes are designed to challenge and engage you, making your maths learning experience enjoyable and rewarding.

How do the Classes Work?
Your child will participate in two live, interactive sessions each week. The first session (Teaching Lesson) is led by our experienced teacher, who will introduce new concepts and guide your child through the lesson. This is the time for your child to ask questions and seek clarification on any challenging topics. We believe in real-time interaction, so your child can actively engage in the learning process.
After the teaching session, your child will be assigned homework related to the topics covered. This homework is designed to reinforce their understanding and allow them to practice the newly learned concepts independently. We encourage them to complete the homework before the next session.
The second session of the week is our homework consolidation class. During this session, we will review the homework assigned and discuss any questions or difficulties your child may have encountered. It's the perfect opportunity for them to seek further guidance and clarification. We want to ensure that your child feels confident and supported every step of the way.

- Year 9 - 60 minute live teaching lesson + 60 minute Homework consolidation lesson each week - £60 per month
- GCSE Year 10 - 60 minute live teaching lesson + 60 minute Homework consolidation lesson each week - £60 per month
- GCSE Exam Practice Year 11 - 60 minute live teaching lesson + 60 minute Homework consolidation lesson each week - £60 per month
- A-Level Year 12 - GCSE Year 10 - 90 minute live teaching lesson + 60 minute Homework consolidation lesson each week - £90 per month
- A-Level Year 13 - GCSE Year 11 - 90 minute live teaching lesson + 60 minute Homework consolidation lesson each week - £90 per month
In addition to your live lessons, you will get access to the slides before each session and access to the recordings of each session afterwards to access anytime you wish to reinforce the topic.
We also offer the first month at half price to allow you to get a better idea of the Mathinar way.
Do you offer FREE Trial Lessons
Yes, at Mathinar, we do offer free trial lessons! We believe that it's important for students and parents to experience our classes firsthand before making any commitments. By attending one of our live classes, you'll have the opportunity to see what Mathinar is all about and get a feel for our teaching style.
During the free trial lesson, not only will you and your child get a chance to see how our classes are conducted, but it also allows us to assess whether Mathinar is the right fit for your child's learning needs. We value feedback from both students and parents, so after the trial lesson, we will arrange a discussion to hear your thoughts and provide any necessary feedback to your child as well.
If you're happy to continue with Mathinar after the trial, we offer an exciting opportunity for you. We provide the first month of tuition at Half Price. This allows you to dive deeper into the Mathinar experience and gain a better understanding of how our program works. It's our way of ensuring that you have ample time to assess the benefits of our tuition before making any commitments.
It's important to note that there are no contracts or binding agreements. You have the freedom to cancel your subscription at any time if you feel that Mathinar isn't the right fit for your child's educational journey.
